This type of trendline passes through the price action and more specifically touching as many tops and bottoms.
The drawback of this variation is that drawing internal trendlines is subjective and an experienced eye is required.
The subjectivity itself makes this type of trendline not as reliable, and I personally do not use it.
Nevertheless, internal trendlines do exist and it’s up to you to assess their value and usefulness.
